Caramel Apple Pie Smoothie

Step aside Pumpkin Spice Latte, my Caramel Apple Pecan Pie Smoothie is here! Not only does it include all of fall’s favorite flavors, it’s packed with protein, healthy fat, and fiber, which can help keep you full all morning long. And, because this delicious smoothie is also dairy-free and gluten-free, those with food sensitivities can enjoy this nutrient-packed drink too.

Homemade Pecan Milk Ingredients

  • 1 cup organic, raw pecans
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • Purified water
  • Pinch of sea salt

Homemade Pecan Milk Directions

  • Add pecans to a bowl, cover with 2 cups purified water, place in refrigerator and soak overnight.
  • Drain water from pecans and rinse with additional purified water.
  • Add soaked and rinsed pecans, 4 cups purified water, vanilla and sea salt to Vitamix or other high speed blender, and blend until creamy and smooth.
  • Strain pecan milk through a nut milk bag or cheesecloth-lined strainer.
  • Refrigerate pecan milk and enjoy!

Makes approximately 32 oz.

Caramel Apple Pecan Pie Smoothie Ingredients

  • 10 oz. Homemade Pecan Milk
  • 1/2 small green apple 
1 tbsp. organic, raw pecans
  • 1 tbsp. Ceylon cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp. lucuma
  • 1 tbsp. maca
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
Vanilla stevia drops to taste (optional) 
  •  

Caramel Apple Pecan Pie Smoothie Directions

  • Add all ingredients to blender and blend until well combined.
  • Adjust stevia drops to taste.
  • Serve and enjoy!
