My No-Fuss Bridal Bouquet

March 9, 2015

One of my greatest passions is giving back, so any way to channel my inner crafty gal and get involved in the community – count me in!

Through a local organization, I was able to lend a helping hand in contributing to wedding for the sweetest couple. The pair had recently overcome a huge health and financial battle and were finally in a place where they could begin moving forward with their wedding day. The community came together to make their big day, a very intimate and special one. I challenged myself to create a bouquet for the bride – a wedding bouquet was something I had never made before, but the bride being extremely encouraging, and having way more confidence in me than I did in myself, insisted that I try! Fortunately, everything turned out beautifully, and I am sharing the step-by-step tutorial below so you can give it a go yourself. The couple was married at a local courthouse and were showered with so much love and support from friends, family and the community; I’m so happy to have been a part of the wonderful celebration.

Lesson to be learned: never forget to have faith in yourself – but more importantly, never lose faith in others.
